Pay based on experience

• Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine
• Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine
• Unload dishes and utensils from dish machine and organize them properly
• Empty trash containers regularly
• Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed
• Perform additional cleaning duties as requested
• Clean food prep stations and equipment

• Must be able to stand continuously throughout an 8 hour shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable bending, climbing, reaching, stooping, and moving quickly
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Working knowledge of sanitation procedures
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English

The Role of Cashier at The Pizza Man is to assist servers and bartenders in providing extraordinary service to the guests dining in the restaurant, as well as the customers calling in to place orders.  The cashier is expected to have thorough knowledge of all menu items..  We believe the cashier's role is far more than a simple order taker, they are part of the dining, take-out and delivery order experience, making the guest feel welcomed and providing knowledgeable answers to any questions.

Besides providing great service to guests in the restaurant cashiers are expected to maintain dining room, and public areas appearance.  This includes regular cleaning and organizing of restrooms, dining areas and surfaces, and storage areas.  Cashiers are expected to help with front of side work including portioning of dressings, washing and rolling of silverware, filling condiments, and washing glasses

Summary of Position: 

Deliver orders and collect payment from customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner representative of the high standards of our restaurant.

§  Make deliveries of our product to residential and commercial locations.

§  Learns the names and personally recognize our regulars.

§  Cross-training for other positions as needed such as phone order taker, and order preparation.

§  Record completed delivery orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register or POS system.

§  Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change (if applicable).

§  Clean and maintain equipment and work area associated with the job function.

§  Assist the restocking and replenishment of product and supplies as stipulated in the shift duties.

§  Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

§  Be able to prioritize best routing for more than one delivery at a time.  

§  Be 18 years of age.

§  Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.

§  Possess suitable communications skills to create a positive interaction experience with our customers.
